There are various adaptation options available for the line graph graph display. The functions can be accessed via the mouse and the pushbutton toolbar.

Features

The following adaptation functions are available:

  • Expand and Move Line Graphs Vertically

    You can expand and move line graphs on the y-axis. You expand the graph vertically by positioning the mouse pointer on the y-axis legend at the left edge of the graph and turning the mouse wheel. This modifies the unit of measurement scale.

    In the case of a group graph, the system only expands the graph over whose y-axis you positioned the mouse pointer.

    You move an expanded line graph along the y-axis by moving it in the graph area while pressing the left mouse button.

    Caution Caution

    Expanding the graph vertically or moving it on the y-axis can cause measurements to disappear from the view area. If this is the case, the graph is cut off at the top or the bottom.

  • Restore Measurements to View Area

    If measurements in the line graphs disappear from the vertically visible area due to a high zoom factor or the graph being moved, a blue arrow (; ) appears at the upper and/or lower edge of the graph. When you click the arrow, the values that were previously hidden from view are restored to the view area.

  • Adjust Line Graph Vertically

    You can restore all graph values on the y-axis in a visible area by choosingCompress Graph to Y-Axis (Y) (Compress Graph to Y-Axis (Y)) in the graph's pushbutton toolbar.

  • Show/Hide Measurements

    You can switch on/off the display of the measurements at the measuring points in a line graph by choosing Show/Hide Values (L) (Show/Hide Values (L)) in the graph's pushbutton toolbar.

  • Show/Hide Grid Lines

    You can show or hide the grid lines in a line graph by choosing Show/Hide Grid Lines (G) (Show/Hide Grid Lines (G)) in the graph's pushbutton toolbar.

    Note Note

    You can only see the grid lines in group diagrams if you position the mouse pointer on the y-axis of one of the graphs.

  • Show/Hide Legend

    You can show or hide the legend in a line graph by choosing Show/Hide Grid Legend (K) (Show/Hide Grid Legend (K)) in the graph's pushbutton toolbar.

  • Increase/Decrease Line Graph

    You can increase or decrease a line graph by moving the lower graph edge of an expanded graph up or down at the highlighted position.
