Function documentationAutomatic Memorization of Layout Changes

When you exit Smart Chart the system remembers the last used chart layout (including the last changes made to this chart layout) and the changes in the time bar navigation area, even if you have not explicitly saved them. The system loads the last used chart layout the next time the patient is called. It is irrelevant here whether the chart layout previously loaded is a standard chart layout predefined in Customizing or is a user-defined chart layout.

Features

The system saves the changes to the chart layout and the time bar navigation area as follows:

For each user, layout and patient

For each patient (for all users)

For each user (for all patients and layouts)

Rearrange Graphs

Manual Sorting

Height setting of time bar navigation area

Show/Hide Graph

Remove Graph

Show/Hide Measurements in Line Graphs

Show/Hide Grid Lines in Line Graphs

Show/Hide Legend in Line Graphs

Width of first column in graph

Activities

If you want to discard the as yet unsaved changes in the layout, you can revert to the original chart layout by using the Restore Chart Layout (Shift + R) (Restore Chart Layout (Shift + R)) pushbutton. The system only activates the pushbutton if there are unsaved changes in the loaded chart layout.

  • In the case of predefined chart layouts from Customizing, the original layout is restored.

  • In the case of user-specific chart layouts, the last status saved is restored.

Example

The standard chart layout is loaded the first time a patient is called. You can then adjust the chart layout to meet your requirements by changing display options, for example the display of measurement labeling, by removing non required graphs or by rearranging the various graphs.

If you now exit the patient without saving these changes and later call up the patient again, you find the chart layout just as you left it.
