User-Specific Chart Layouts
User-specific chart layouts are layouts that you adjust to meet your requirements and save under a different name. A user-specific layout is only available to you and for a given patient.
If you define a user-specific layout as a personal standard chart layout, Smart Chart uses this layout for all patients you call up for the first time. The system loads the user-specific chart layout in priority to the standard chart layouts defined in Customizing or in the UIBB configuration for Smart Chart.
Whenever you make changes to the loaded layout, the system activates the
(Save Chart Layout (Shift + S)
) pushbutton in the function bar.
When you choose the pushbutton, the Save User-Specific Layout
dialog opens. Give the layout a new name in the Description
field and confirm the function. The new layout is immediately available for selection.
Note
Predefined chart layouts from Customizing are read-only. However, you can save predefined chart layouts as user-specific chart layouts under a different name.
Note
The system automatically remembers the last layout called for each patient as well as all unsaved changes to this layout. For further information, see Automatic Memorizing of Layout Changes.
