Examinations

The Examinations User Interface Building Block displays the clinical orders or service ordering orders entered in the selected time period.

Prerequisites

In the configuration of the patient profile you have assigned the Examinations UIBB to the user or to the role of the user.

Features

The Examinations UIBB provides the following information:

Details
In the Details column you can use the hotspot on (More) to display detailed data on the order item.
Order Type
In the Order Type column the system displays the name of the order type.

You can use the hotspot to branch to the individual object display, see Display Individual Object in the Patient Record.
Status
You can use the hotspot in this column to branch to the status history of the order item. The system displays the status history directly below the corresponding entry.
Documents
In this column the system uses an icon to display whether documents exist for the order item: If only one document exists, you can open it using the hotspot on this icon. If several documents exist, the system displays these in the detail area below the entry.

The Examinations UIBB provides the following functions:

You use (Create) to call service ordering. You cannot create clinical orders from the Examinations UIBB.

You can use (Fullscreen) to toggle to the fullscreen display for examinations, see also Fullscreen Display in the Patient Record.
You can set or reset indicators for follow-up, see Set/Reset Indicators in the Patient Record.
You can restrict the display with filters, see Use of Filters in the Patient Record

Activities

The following actions are available for the order items in the Examinations UIBB:

(Change)
Depending on the type of examination you use this function to call service ordering or the clinical order.
(Cancel)
This function is only available for clinical orders.
