Smart Chart provides various graph types which graphically map the progress of values and events.

The compatibility of a graph type with a specific data source is defined by the system. You can use the following graph types for your data sources:

  • Line Graphs

    These are used to display the progress of numerical or alphanumerical vital signs, or numerical or alphanumerical values from customer-specific data sources. You can create a separate graph for each data source or have the system display several data sources together in one group graph. The system displays the measurements of a data source using the icon selected in Customizing and connects these with a line.

  • Event graphs

    These are used to display documents, physician's orders, physician's orders for the ward documentation work station and progress entries in the Smart Chart.

  • Table Diagrams

    These are used for the tabular display of numerical or alphanumerical vital signs, or numerical or alphanumerical values from customer-specific data sources. You can create a separate graph for each data source or have the system display several data sources together in one group graph.

  • Medication graphs

    Used to display medicinal events and orders.
