Function documentationCreating Group Graphs

In group graphs you can display several vital signs or values from customer-specific data sources together on one graph area. Group graphs are available for the line graph and table diagram graph types. You can only combine identical graph types together in a group graph.

Group graphs are available for the following data sources:

  • Vital Signs (Line Graph)

  • Vital Signs (Table Diagram)

  • Customer-Specific Data Source for Line Graph

  • Customer-Specific Data Source for Table Diagram

Prerequisites

In order to be able to display values in group graphs, the following prerequisites must be fulfilled:

  • The selected data sources are identical.

  • The graph type of the selected data source is defined as a group graph (for example Group Graph for Line Graph).

Activities

In order to create a group graph, proceed as follows:

  1. When creating a chart element, choose between the Group Graphs for Line Graphs or Group Graphs for Table Diagrams graph types.

  2. Under Selection Criteria use [Icon + Chart Element] to add the chart elements which the system should group as a group graph.

  3. Under Graph Properties use Display Line Pairs Connected to specify whether the system should display a connecting line between the value pairs of values of consecutive measurements, such as systolic or diastolic blood pressure. The following ways of displaying are possible:

  • Connecting Line

The system uses a line to connect both values with each other.

  • Area Display

The system uses a line to connect both values and colors the space between the horizontal lines.

The display of value pairs is dependent on the settings in vital sign catalog maintenance.

Note Note

Note that the function Display Line Pairs Connected is only available for the Vital Signs (Line Graph) and the Vital Signs (Table Diagram) data sources.

End of the note.

Note Note

Note that the system initially only indicates reference areas in group graphs for line graphs using icons. The system will only display the reference ranges when you move the mouse cursor over the legend of the y-axis of the corresponding vital sign.

End of the note.

For the group graphs for table diagrams graph types the system displays numerical and alphanumerical values combined in one group diagram.
