Structure of Medication Graph
The medication graph displays orders with the status Saved
,Active,
Inactive
and Ended
.
The medication graph is divided into the following sections:
First Column
In the first column of the medication graph the system displays the following order-specific information:
Drug description
Dose unit (exception: continuous infusions)
Administration route
Confirmation arrow
Indicators for infusions (if applicable): Icon with syringe
Indicators for PRN medication (if applicable): Icon with letters “PRN”
Note
You can toggle between single line and double line display in the first column. For more information, see Optimize Column Width for Medication Graphs.
Subsequent Columns
In the subsequent columns the graph displays the following event-specific information:
Events per order
From the second column onwards the system displays time-specific events for each order.
Dosage
The dosage is composed of the dose, the unit, and the cycle of the order. The system shows you the dosage at the start of the order, as well as time-specifically at each change of the dosage in the further course of the order.
Note
For daily cycles the system does not display the cycle description in the dosage.
