Performing a ServiceYou can perform ordered services in medical service entry by choosing the desired service and selecting the pushbutton with the quick info text Perform Service
.
Note
You can only perform services which have the status Confirmed Requested or Scheduled.
Each performed service must have a movement reference. If you select services which have the status Confirmed Requested, the system creates the movement reference according to the organizational unit-related parameter N1BWERB for the performing OU. See Organizational Unit-Related Parameters for Services
The system checks whether all selected services of a case can be performed together. If this is not possible, an error message is displayed.
The system displays the Service Performance
dialog box.
In the Service Performance
dialog box the system presets all data such as the performing organizational unit (OU), the employee responsible, and the service time.
You can change the preset data. If you change the performing OU you can choose from the organizational units which have the relevant service in their range and can therefore perform the service.
Note
If services should be performed which are requestable but not performable, the system will branch directly to the Replace Service function. See Replacing Services.
Each time services are performed and released the system checks whether the visit can be completed. A visit can only be completed when all assigned services have Performed or Released status. Canceled or replaced services are not taken into account.
Save your entries.
The system sets the services to Performed status.
Note
Medical services in Performed status are planned services in SAP Patient Management (IS-H). Only when you release medical services (Released status), do these services become actually performed services which are then available in subsequent IS-H processes (patient billing, transfer into CO etc.).
You return to medical service entry.
