Procedure documentationReplacing a Service

Replacing a service means replacing one service with one or more others. With this function you can enter (and in the clinical system i.s.h.med order), for example, non-performable services and replace or complete these using performable services in the service planning phase.

Procedure

  1. Choose the service which should be replaced in the entry table and select the pushbutton with the quick info text Replace Service.

The Replace Service dialog box appears.

    Note Note

If the service to be replaced is a service group, an intermediate window appears before the Replace Service intermediate window, where you can select the subordinate services. Your selected services then appear in the Replace Service dialog box.

    End of the note.
  2. In the Replace Service dialog box you enter all services which should be performed instead of the originally ordered service. You can only replace the originally ordered service with services from the same service range, i.e. which can be performed by your service facility.

You can branch to the hit list of services to select services. You select Hit List (Hit List).

  3. Save the entered services.

    Saving triggers the following actions:

    • The system sets the service to be replaced to Replaced status. The service can then no longer be performed.

    • The system attaches the new services to the replaced service. Together with the replaced service, the new services form a group so that you can always trace which services were assigned to a replaced service.

    • Each service of this group can, in turn, be replaced, so that an originally entered service can have several levels of replacement,

    • Each new service entered during replacement receives the same status as the replaced service.

You return to medical service entry.
