Configuring Orders
From the surgery monitor, the user can enter orders for preliminary or follow-up examinations. The user can transfer ordered services into a request.
Note
Ordered services cannot be transferred into clinical orders.
Define a service status for ordered services.
Ordered services are created with the service status “ordered”. When the service is transferred into a request, its status changes.

Define the assignment types for the procedure proposal in the corresponding system parameters.

You can define a preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative procedure proposal using the system parameters as follows:

Note
You should note that you must set the maintenance indicator to "Other" for these assignment types.
Using these assignment types, create service groups for the procedure proposal for orders.
Create a service for free text orders.
Free text orders are processed using a special service. When the user creates a free text order, the long text editor is called for him or her to enter the order text.
