Organizational Unit-Related Clinical Order Parameters
With settings relating to the organizational unit (OU), the system administrator can influence the clinical order functionality.
You use the following organizational unit-related parameters (OU parameters) to make settings for the clinical order.
You define the corresponding OU parameters in the SAP Easy Access
screen under .
In the clinical order you can enter an anesthetist for order items of a surgery order type. In order to be able to assign the entered employee or external employee to the surgery team, the system requires the Anesthetist
task. You must define the task.
You use this parameter to determine which precise task of this organizational unit should be used for the anesthetist.
In the clinical order you can enter an assistant for order items of a surgery order type. In order to be able to assign the internal or external employee to the surgery team, the system requires the Assistant
task. You must define the task.
You use this parameter to define which precise task the OU should use for the assistant.
You can use this parameter to determine the generation horizon for generating individual services for ordered cyclical services in weeks.
The system checks the parameter before generating the individual services for ordered cyclical services for the addresses OU of the order item of the clinical order. The standard value for this parameter is 4 weeks. The valid value range for the parameter lies between 1 and 53. Note that services for each OU should only be generated for as many weeks into the future as is necessary.
Note
This function is available to you if you have activated the business function Clinical System Situation-Based Clinical Documentation (ISHMED_SCD
).
You use this parameter to determine whether the system should display all or only plannable services in the clinical order. See Tab Page on Item Level
The system will check the parameter value for the initiating organizational unit.
1: All services (standard value)
2: Only plannable services
Note
This function is available to you if you have activated the business function Clinical System Situation-Based Clinical Documentation (ISHMED_SCD
).
You can use this parameter to control how the services should be sorted. The system will check the parameter value for the initiating organizational unit.
1: By ordered service (standard value)
2: chronologically
Note
This function is available to you if you have activated the business function Clinical System Situation-Based Clinical Documentation (ISHMED_SCD
).
You can use this parameter to control the appearance of clinical orders in the worklists of the planning grid and day-based planning:
1: All items of a clinical order area visible in the worklist (standard value).
2: The system only displays the clinical order items that you selected before calling the planning grid or day-based planning.
The system will check the parameter value for the following organizational unit (OU):
In the planning grid, for the planning OU
In day-based planning, for the OU to be planned (as no planning OU exists).
With this parameter you can define for each admitting facility, the transactions in which the system should call the Create Case Reference
dialog box.
If you do not enter the parameter, the system cannot create a case reference.
You should use a comma to separate the individual transaction codes.
The list can also contain wildcards (*).
When you enter a clinical order for an operating service facility, you can also enter an operating surgeon. In order to assign the entered employee or external employee to the surgery team, the system requires the Operating Surgeon
task.
You define the task and save it in this parameter.
You use this parameter to determine which planning function should be used when allocating a surgery/treatment appointment for the clinical order:
1: Day-based planning (standard value)
2: Time-based planning
3: Surgery planning (Surgeries
view type)
In addition to the parameter value 3 you also enter - separated by a colon - the key of the view to which you wish to branch.
The system will check the parameter value for the performing OU to which the order item is addressed.
If you have activated the time-based planning of surgery/treatment appointments with the parameter N1VKGPLMOD
, you use this parameter to control, for the planning OU, which of the following planning tools is used in the clinical order for appointments such as this:
1: Visit scheduling with appointment search first
2: Planning grid (standard value)
3: Appointment search
You use this parameter to control, which organizational unit is proposed as the transport service OU when creating a transport order in a clinical order (see Transport Order Application Component).
The system will check the parameter value for the OU which enters the transport order.
