The Transport Order application component provides the fields for entering a transport order for the order item of the clinical order.

 

This application component is an item component. This means that the user can enter the transport order data for the order items on the Item Level Tab Page in the clinical order.

System administration decides whether the user should enter this information in the corresponding order header in the clinical order. In addition, the system administration defines the name of the tab page that is to be available for the transport order data.

Structure

The application component contains, for example, the following fields for entering the transport order data:

  • Initial, Return or Further Transport

  • Pick-Up From

  • Bring To

  • Transport Type

  • Transport OU

    The component checks whether the transport organizational unit (OU) entered by the user has the OU parameter N1OEFD. When creating a clinical order, the system will preset the transport OU with the transport OU of the initiating OU (OU parameter N1FDOEFA).
