Vital signs that are combined as a value pair have a common y-axis. For example, the Systolic/Diastolic value pair for the Blood Pressure vital sign is represented in the same unit of measurement.

Different normal ranges apply for both values. If you move the mouse pointer over the lower half of the y-axis for the Blood Pressure vital sign, Smart Chart highlights this in color and displays the reference range for the diastolic value in the graph background. The systolic values in the upper part of the graph are now displayed in a pale color. The same applies for the upper half of the y-axis and the reference range for the systolic value.

In the quick info text for a value pair, the system always displays both values, the selected one first. If a value is missing in value pairs, for example Systolicor Diastolic, only the individual value is displayed as a single point.
