Subsequent Orders in Medication Graph
Subsequent orders clarify the connection between orders in the medication graph, where the connection has been lost. They make it possible to track the historical progress of medicinal therapy in the medication graph.
Features
The system recognizes two types of medication order:
Order Sequence “Dose and/or Cycle Changes”
For orders where you have only changed the dosage (dose and/or cycle), the system creates a subsequent order in the same line as that of the original order.
NoteIf you change the dosage of an order from or to one of the following dosage types, then the system displays the subsequent order in a new line:
Single Administration
Sliding Dose
Continual Infusion

Order Sequence “Others Changes”
If you make other changes to an existing order, such as
changing the drug
, the system displays the resulting subsequent order in a separate line. You can view the subsequent orders which belong together in a history.You can find further information under Order Sequence of Other Changes Type.
