Order Sequence of Other Changes Type
The system displays order sequences of the Other Changes
type in one line for each new subsequent order. The system interprets all changes to the order, except changes of the dose and/or cycle
type as Other Changes
.
Note
If you change the dosage of an order from or to one of the following dosage types, then the system displays the subsequent order in a new line:
Single Administration
Sliding Dose
Continual Infusion
You can view subsequent orders of the Other Changes
type in the relevant history of the corresponding order. You open the history by clicking on the icon for subsequent orders to the left of the order title.
The following icons are available:
Icon | Meaning |
|---|---|
Icon with arrow pointing top left | This order is an original order |
Icon with arrow pointing bottom right | This order is a subsequent order |
Icon with arrow pointing bottom right and top left | This order is both an original order and a subsequent order |
The system highlights order sequences in the history with a gray background. You can also view subsequent orders, which are in other groups at the current time, in the history. You can only open one history at once. If you have activated the Optimize Height
function, the system still also lists the inactive orders in the history.
You can find more information on the Optimize Height
function under Optimize Content Area of Medication Graph.
