If you have changed the dosage (dose and/or cycle) for an order, the system creates a subsequent order and displays this in the same line as the original order.

Note Note

If you change the dosage of an order from or to one of the following dosage types, then the system displays the subsequent order in a new line:

  • Single Administration

  • Sliding Dose

  • Continual Infusion

Features

The system displays changes to the dosage in an order as follows:

  • Interruption of display within the order line using “> <”

  • Repeat listing of ordered dosage at the lower edge of the line for the corresponding time. The system indicates the precise time of the change with a vertical dash “|” in front of the dosage.
