 Holding of an Appraisal

Purpose

Once details of the appraisal have been specified, information on the appraisees is obtained. After this, the actual appraisal is held. Depending on the appraisal model in question, either one appraisal or several subappraisals have to be held. Each appraisal can be held in one or more steps, and at any time.

Note Note

Sometimes, the appraisal must be held within a specific period (this would have been specified when the appraisal was being prepared).

End of the note.

Every appraiser can either

  • Work through the appraisal online, or

  • Use a different medium for holding the appraisal (use the hard copy of the appraisal sheet , for example). In this case, the data collected during the appraisal will have to be entered in the system by a person commissioned to do so.

Note Note

This procedure must be followed for anonymous multisource appraisals , since the only information that can be stored on the appraiser(s) is the number of appraisers involved.

Either this procedure - or the procedure described in the section entitled Creating an Individual Appraisal in One Step - must be followed for anonymous individual appraisals.

End of the note.

In the case of multisource appraisals, the overall result can either be determined automatically or entered manually.

The appraisal has been prepared.
