 Appraisal sheets

Definition

A form for an appraisal that has been prepared in the system. This form can be printed for the purposes of holding an appraisal.

Use

If you do not want to work through an appraisal online (as might be the case for a personnel review or if attendees are to appraise a business event), you can print out the appraisal form and use this hard copy to record the information collected during the appraisal. However, the appraisal in question must have been prepared in the system, and preparation of the appraisal must have been completed. Please note the following for anonymous appraisals:

  • If the appraisal is an anonymous multisource appraisal , you must use the appraisal sheet or some other medium to perform the appraisal since the only information that can be stored on the appraisers is the number of appraisers involved.

The information recorded during the appraisal must be entered in the system by a person commissioned to do so.

Structure

An appraisal sheet contains the following information:

  • Name of the appraisal

  • Appraiser

  • Appraisees (objects appraised)

  • Period appraised

  • All appraisal elements

  • Required entry fields

Fields for notes can be created for every appraisal element.

Note Note

If you have specified in Customizing that notes are not permitted for an appraisal element, then you will not be able to create a Notes field for the appraisal element in question.

End of the note.

You can also print out a legend containing descriptions for the various appraisal elements, the proficiencies on the scales used, or descriptions of these proficiencies.

The differences between the appraisal sheet and the list display are as follows:

  • Fields that are not ready for input do not appear on the appraisal sheet

  • If data has to be entered for an appraisal element, this is represented visually on the appraisal sheet

  • The description Unevaluated does not appear beside unevaluated appraisal elements on the appraisal sheet
