 Holding an Individual Appraisal

Prerequisites

You must have completed preparation of an appraisal of the appraisal type Individual appraisal.

Procedure

To access the appraisal, proceed in one of the following ways:

To access from the profile view:

To access via appraisal evaluation:

  1. Choose Start of the navigation path Human resources Next navigation step Personnel management Next navigation step Personnel development Next navigation step Profile Next navigation step Change. End of the navigation path

  2. The Change Profile screen appears.

  3. Select the appropriate appraiser or appraisee. For more information on selecting objects in the Object Manager, refer to Working With the Object Manager .

  4. Double-click the selected appraiser or appraisee.

  5. Select the Appraisals Where Appraisee (or Appraisals Where Appraiser ) tab page.

  6. Select the appraisal that you want to work through, and choose .

  1. Work through the steps described in the procedure Evaluating Appraisals (in Edit mode), and select the In preparation and Individual and overall appraisals flags.

  2. A list of appraisals appears.

  3. Select the appraisal you want, and choose Start of the navigation path Edit Next navigation step Appraisal Next navigation step Change End of the navigation path or Start of the navigation path Edit Next navigation step Appraisal (new session) Next navigation step Change. End of the navigation path

Follow one of the following two procedures, depending on the preparation status of the appraisal:

Preparation not completed

Preparation completed

The Prepare Appraisal - <appraisal model> screen appears.

  1. Choose .

The Change Appraisal - <appraisal model> screen appears.

The Change Appraisal - <appraisal model> screen appears.

  1. If necessary, change the creation date of the appraisal.

  2. Enter ratings for the individual appraisal elements.

  3. To display more information on the appraisal elements, double-click the element in question (this opens up the descriptive text).

  4. To create notes for an appraisal element, choose .

  5. To store information on the entire appraisal, create notes at the appraisal model level. You can also access these notes directly from the profile view.

  6. Save the appraisal.

Result

You have held the appraisal. You can now either edit the appraisal, or complete it.
