Using this function you can reserve internal rooms or other real estate objects for external business partners.
To bill for external reservations, you can use the following enhanced billing options:
Billing using one-time postings
Billing using one-time postings based on an outline agreement
Billing using periodic posting based on an outline agreement
You can create an external reservation only in the form of an individual reservation.
You made all the settings described in Room Reservations and Long-Term Seating Arrangements . If you want to use an outline agreement for determining or posting the reservation costs, you have to define the outline agreement before creating the reservation. For more information about creating an outline agreement, see Creating an Outline Agreement .
You create the external reservation as an
individual reservation
. You also set the
Ext. Reservat.
indicator and select a billing type:
If you select
One-Time Posting
and you did
not
create an outline agreement, then you post the external reservation directly by choosing the pushbutton with the quick info text
Post
on the screen for creating the reservation. The price is determined using the
prices for reservation objects
that you defined.
