Restatement of Add. Financial Data and Group-Dependent Entries
When you follow the steps outlined below, you can use the following functions:
You can assign special hierarchy versions to restatement data slices.
You can enter additional financial data for restatements.
You can execute consolidation tasks for consolidation group-dependent entries using posting levels 02
, 12
, 22
, and 30
.
You have activated the Financials, Group Close, Restatement Monitor
business function.
You have created a restatement characteristic and assigned it the Restatement
role. This restatement characteristic must contain master data. Use of the seven-character field Fiscal Year/Period
is not permitted.
To add the restatement characteristic to data streams for additional financial data, proceed as follows:
In the Customizing settings for the data basis, choose the Data Stream Fields
tab page.
In all data streams for additional financial data, navigate to the Additional Fields
node and activate the Restatement
characteristic.
Save the data basis.
To activate the restatement of group-dependent entries for a consolidation area, in Customizing for the consolidation area, navigate to the Settings
tab page and select the Restatement of Consolidation Group-Dependent Postings
checkbox.
In the process view of the consolidation workbench, choose , and create special versions of the type H0
(Hierarchy Structure
).
Choose .
There is a Restatement
node under the Hierarchy Structure
node. An entry for each non-initial restatement characteristic is available under this node. Special version 100
is assigned to each non-initial restatement characteristic.
You can assign a separate special hierarchy version to each non-initial restatement characteristic.
Save your changes.
Note
The assignment of a special hierarchy version for non-initial restatements applies to all restatement-relevant characteristics with the exception of the Task
characteristic. For more information about this exception, see Task Hierarchy for Restatements.
The special hierarchy version for non-initial restatements does not depend on the field name.
Once you have assigned special hierarchy versions to restatement data slices, we recommend that you copy existing hierarchies to the special versions that you use for restatements. You can then use these when you make any required hierarchy changes for the restatement in question.
A tool is available for copying hierarchies between special versions. For more information, see Copying Hierarchies Between Versions.
Note
Ensure you copy the hierarchies before you make any hierarchy changes for the restatement in question. You will otherwise overwrite any changes you have perviously made as soon as you copy the hierarchies.
