Definition

The logon used to connect to the Core Database system

Description and Use

This system parameter specifies the logon used by the instances of the SAP CC Core Server system to connect permanently to the Core Database system. Its value must correspond to an existing Core Database user granted with the appropriate rights.

Caution

The credentials (logon and password) must be the same for each instance of the SAP CC system. The database credentials are also stored in boot configuration files. Keep your system consistent.

An immediate change is not possible. For a deferred and permanent change, use the set command of the Admin+ user interface to change the parameter value for a specific type of instance in the SAP CC Core Server system. A restart is needed for permanent changes.
