This system parameter defines the frequency (in seconds) of "ping" operations that are sent to the Session Database. After 2 failed ping operations, the instance is considered as down. When database connections are down, ping operations are used to reconnect automatically to the Session database.
To enable ping operations on the Session Database, set a value that is greater than 30 seconds.
To disable ping operations on the Session Database, set the value to 0.
