This system parameter defines the multicast address used by a dispatcher instance to inform possible client applications about its availability and connection parameters. This address can be:
A Class D IPv4 multicast address, including addresses from 224.0.0.0 to 239.255.255.255 (or equivalently, 224.0.0.0/4) which are specified in the RFC 3171 specification
An IPv6 multicast address, having the prefix ff00::/8 as specified in the RFC 2375 specification

Note A default value is part of the factory settings of the SAP CC Core Server systems. It differs from the original value set during the installation or after the Customizing activities. In Admin+, you can reset a parameter value to this default value, but it is not recommended:
