This system parameter enables or disables the data packing function of provider contracts in customer master data.
If you set up this parameter to true, you allow the packing of provider contracts.
The packing of provider contracts consists in removing useless revisions of the provider contracts from the back-end database.
The SAP CC system applies this function when you modify a provider contract.
It is applied only once to a provider contract.
If you modify the contract once again, the function does nothing to this contract.
Notes
true if the
version of the first SAP CC system you installed was greater than SAP CC 4.0 SP08.
The provider contracts are packed as soon as they are modified. In that case, the packing procedure is useless.
The possible values are:
true: The packing function is applied to provider contracts.
false: The packing function is not applied to provider contracts.
