Definition
Description
This system parameter defines the frequency (in seconds) of "ping" operations that are sent to the Core Database. After 2 failed ping operations, the instance is considered as down. When database connections are down, ping operations are used to reconnect automatically to the Core database.
To enable ping operations on the Core Database, set a value that is greater than 30 seconds.
To disable ping operations on the Core Database, set the value to 0.
