Description

This system parameter specifies the versions of the communication protocol of the Message TCP technical interface. The parameter makes the difference between the instances of the SAP CC system and other client applications or systems (mediation system, policy system) that use this technical interface for online and offline charging operations.

Syntax

• FULL_COMPATIBLE (default) : The dispatcher instance of the SAP CC system accepts to register a client application or another instance of the SAP CC Core Server system with the old protocol format as well as the new one.
• CLIENT_COMPATIBLE : The dispatcher instance accepts to register external client applications using the old and the new protocol format but only accepts to register Core Server instances using the new protocol format.
• STRICT : The dispatcher will only accept to register connections and communications using the new protocol format.
