Definition

The maximum number of subcaches for the guiding cache

Description

The guiding cache is divided into smaller subcaches for reducing contention in this cache. This system parameter defines the maximum number of subcaches into the guiding cache.

This parameter is defaulted to the first prime number greater than 8 times the number of CPUs. In general, there is no need to modify.

An immediate change is not possible. For a deferred and permanent change, use the set command of the Admin+ user interface to change the parameter value for a specific type of instance in the SAP CC system. A restart is needed for permanent changes.
