Definition

The retention period of counter snapshots stored for each offline subscription or provider contract

Description

This system parameter specifies the number of retention days of the counter snapshots that are stored for each offline subscription or provider contract. This parameter also defines the number of days during which rerating is possible.

This parameter cannot be modified after installation. It is taken into account at the first launch of the updater instance of the SAP CC Core Server system, but is ignored during subsequent launches.

If the chargeable items rerating process is used with allowances, the value of this parameter must be lower than or equal to the value of the ALLOWANCES_PURGE_RETENTION_PERIOD system parameter. Otherwise, expired allowances may be deleted while they are still usable by the chargeable items rerating process.
