Selecting Variants from Test Data Containers

Use

This variant maintenance step in the new variant maintenance wizard is only displayed if multiple test data containers (TDCs) are available for variant selection. In this step, you select variants from the assigned TDCs.

Prerequisites

You have performed the step Assigning Parameters.

Activities

To select variants from multiple TDCs, proceed as follows.

1. Select the required TDC and then choose Display Variants.

   The corresponding variants are displayed in the lower subwindow Test Data Variants.

2. Use the relevant checkboxes to select the required variants. Once at least one variant has been selected from each TDC, the next step Assign Variants is activated.

You have selected variants from different test data containers. Proceed with the step Assigning Variants.
