Test Configurations with One Assigned TDC

If you only have one TDC for selection, you will see a list of variants that you can assign to the test configuration directly by selecting them.

Test Configurations with Multiple Assigned TDCs

If multiple TDCs are available for variant selection, you can switch between the variant displays of the different TDCs. For each TDC, the variants that were selected in the previous step ( Selecting Variants from Test Data Containers) are displayed.

To assign variants in the case of multiple assigned TDCs, proceed as follows:

1. In the subwindow Test Data Container, select the required test data container and choose Display Variants.

   The variants of the test data container are then displayed in the subwindow Variants of Test Data Container <Test Data Container Name>.

2. Select the TDC variants that you want to assign to the test configuration (TC), and choose one of the following variant operations:

   • Add Variants to TC (1:1)

     This option adds variants to the test configuration.

   • Fill TC Variants (1:n)

     You use this option to assign the values of a selected TDC variant (table on the left) to several selected test configuration variants in the table on the right.

   • Fill Multiple TC Variants (n:n)

     You use this option to select multiple TDC variants and assign them in the same order to the same number of test configuration variants (selected in the TC table).
