The variant maintenance wizard appears. As of SAP NetWeaver 7.0 EHP2 SP12 there is a new wizard in addition to the conventional one. It has extended functionality and takes you step by step though the variant creation process. The new wizard is displayed by default (you can recognize it from the way it guides you step by step through the process). However, you can switch back to the conventional wizard.
