Migration Considerations

For a number of Former Budgeting functions, you may need to re-enter data in BCS. Some of these areas are authorizations , availability control (AVC) , and customer exits (Business Add-Ins). For further information, see Special Migration Areas and Organizational Issues Relating to Migration .

Furthermore, Former Budgeting contains functionality which is not yet available in BCS, in particular some of the functionality used by German Local Authorities. If you are using any of these functions, you should consider switching to BCS at the time that the same functionality is available in BCS. In this case, SAP will either provide a migration solution for this data or help you overcome any remaining restrictions. See German Local Authorities for further information.
