Define one or a number of planning layouts .

The planning layouts of the budget control system are mainly based on data from the totals table FMBDT . You define which characteristics and key figures are used and how your entry screen is structured in a planning layout. In addition, you can enter particular values for the characteristics and key figures selected or modify the output values using a formula definition.

You define a separate planning layout for each variant of your planning.

Define one or a number of planner profiles and assign a special selection of planning layouts to each planner profile.

Using a planner profile, you can control the flow and distribution of planning data to individual planners by defining planning tasks. In a planning task, you define which planning layouts can be used with which default parameters for the totals table FMBDT. In the planner profile, you define which users carry out these tasks by assigning an authorization group to the planner profile.

You define the authorization groups and assign users in Customizing for Funds Management under  Budget Control System (BCS) Budgeting Budget Entry Planning Define Authorization Groups and Manage Authorizations .

Each user who carries out planning must be assigned to a planner profile.

To assign yourself to a planning profile, choose the following in the Funds Management menu:  Budgeting Budget Control System (BCS) Budget Entry Planning Set Planner Profile .
