Change Reconciliation
The change reconciliation is a process of comparing the source recipe and the target BOM for any discrepancies or inconsistencies in the quantities and Unit of Measure (UoM). The discrepancies can be due to the changes done in the component's quantity and UoM. The change reconciliation workbench allows you to view and resolve these discrepancies. In the Status column, the app displays discrepancy icons in the rows of the Source and Target panels that have attribute discrepancies.

Discrepancy in Quantity and UoM
The app allows you to split and plan the source recipe into multiple target components based on quantity. Therefore, a single source node can have multiple target nodes linked to it. For more information, see Planning Types and Planning Statuses.
Now if there is any discrepancy in the quantity and UoM, the app provides an option to resolve the discrepancy or reconcile the changes. In the Status column, the app displays the discrepancy icons in the rows of the Source and Target panels with quantity and UoM discrepancies.
The main goal of resolving discrepancies is to ensure that the source quantity and UoM are correctly consumed in the Target.
