Application Log

Use

Using the TRM application log you can save, read and delete logs relating to task creation and task selection . The logs include errors, warnings and explanations.

You can enable and disable the application log at site level using the Maintain site TRM Monitor method .

The TRM application log has the standard application log interface, with the additional option of displaying priority calculations.

Integration

The application log is accessible via the TRM Monitor. For more information on accessing the application log, see Using Basic Monitor Functions .

Features

The following two objects are kept in the application log:

  • TRM_TASK_CREATION

Displays the following:

  • Error and warning messages

  • Route options

  • TRM_TASK_SELECTION

Displays the following:

  • All of the tasks that are selectable for a particular resource, with the calculated priorities and explanations

  • The selected task

For a request representing a groups of tasks in a bundle, the application log displays all of the entries related to the request (on the transfer order, transfer order item and task levels).

For independent tasks, the application log displays the entries relating to the request items (on the transfer order item and task levels).

Note Note

Only tasks that have been selected in system-guided mode are written to the application log.

The application log can slow performance in the productive system.
