Driver Assignment
Purpose
You can assign one or more drivers to each of the scheduled vehicles. The driver selected must be available and not marked for deletion.
Prerequisites
Driver assignment can only occur after a vehicle has been assigned to the shipment.
Process Flow
If known, the driver numbers can be entered in the
Driver Assignment
screen. Alternatively, a driver matchcode can be used to find drivers for assignment to a shipment.
Selecting Drivers using matchcode
From the
Vehicle Overview
screen:
Select
Driver
.Place the cursor in the
Driver
field.Select the down arrow next to the
Driver
field.Select
Other Search Help
in the dialog.Enter the search data.
Select
Execute
.
After searching for a driver using matchcode, the system returns a list of drivers. From this list you can select the drivers you want to use for the shipment.
