Creating Drawable Bonds To enter new class data, you first have to create the issuer of the security as the
business partner
in the role of
Issuer
.
You can enter class data for drawable bonds on the tab pages
Basic data,
Search terms, Conditions, Exchanges,
and
Regulatory reporting.
On the tab page
User data
, you can see who created the class, who last changed it, and all of the change documents for that class.
Differences between creating 'normal' bonds and drawable bonds:
When you first save the class data for a drawable bond, a dialog box appears for creating the corresponding class for the drawn partial positions (with the product type
Installment repayment
). Change the default entries as required. If you are using external number assignment, you must also enter the class ID. Choose
Create
.
Unlike creating a normal bond, creating a
drawable bond
involves entering redemption schedule sets and redemption schedules. You access the functions for editing the redemption schedule sets and redemption schedules on the
Conditions
tab page (see below).

Check
This checks the consistency of the class data. Any errors that occur here are displayed in a dialog box. The same checks are carried out when you save the class.
Reset
This function is available in the change mode. It resets the class data to the status it had just after it was last saved.
Cash Flow
For stocks and bonds, the system displays a simulated cash flow based on a purchase with a nominal value of 100,000.

This function lists the classes that use the current security ID number as the underlying.
From the class data, you can branch to the relevant
Issuer
business partner's data. To do this, choose
Environment
→
Display Issuer
.
You can display the change documents for the class data by choosing
Environment
→
Change Documents
.
The class status is displayed at the top right-hand side of the screen. You can either change the status there, or choose
Edit
→
Change Status.
A class can have the status
obsolete, inactive,
or
active.
Save your entries before you exit the class data screen.
