Search Terms

Definition

Using this data for a class, you can use the selection criteria to search for classes by ID number, and evaluate them in the Information System.

Structure

You can use the following search terms:

  • Name of the class ( short and long name )

  • Secondary indexes

You can enter secondary indexes in addition to the security ID number for a class.

Choose Define Secondary Index in Customizing to define additional secondary indexes (such as EUROCLEAR or ISIN), which you then assign to the individual product types by choosing Define Product Types.

  • Classification

  • Product category

  • Product type

  • General securities classification

This classification enables you to divide securities into different categories. You define these in Customizing by choosing Define General Classification for Securities.

You can use the field selection function when you choose Define Product Types to determine for each product type whether you want the field to be an optional or required entry, or whether you just want to display or suppress it.

  • Rating of the class

In Customizing for the Treasury Basic Functions area, choose Define Ratings and Define Institutes to make the required settings for the rating.
