Statistics Maintenance

Also known as FAST mode. This feature refreshes information about the number of rows in each table. This is a non-blocking operation that has almost no impact on database performance. As such, it can be executed with the application up and running.

Note:
FAST mode is a basic and less effective form of database maintenance.

However, it is non-blocking and can be invoked even when the database is under some load without significantly impacting performance.
