Destroying Works Council Data Using HRPA_WRKCN
You can use the HR: Works Councils
archiving object (HRPA_WRKCN
) to destroy works council data once a specified retention period has expired. The archiving object destroys data from infotype Works Councils
(0054).

If, for example, a legal case to do with the accounting for lost works council payments is not yet closed, you can block the relevant data records from being destroyed. To do so, in the Legal Hold
infotype (3246), put a legal hold on the employee's data (subtype 177). For more information, see Legal Hold.
