You can use the archiving object HR: Insurance (HRPA_INSUR) to destroy insurance data for employees. The archiving object destroys data from infotype Insurance (0037).

The following programs are available for HRPA_INSUR:

If a legal case related to insurance for an employee is not yet closed, because there are inconsistencies in the insurance data, for example, you can block the relevant data records from being destroyed. To do so, in the Legal Hold infotype (3246), put a legal hold on the employee's data (subtype 175). For more information, see Legal Hold.

Prerequisites

You are familiar with the basics of data destruction, as well as the functions for ILM policies and rules, and have defined the retention rules for the archiving object.

Procedure

  1. Familiarize yourself with the condition fields and time bases that are available in ILM for defining retention rules for HRPA_INSUR.
