You can use the archiving object HR: Internal Data (HRPA_INDAT) to destroy internal data on employees, such as data about company cars and work centers. The archiving object destroys data from infotype Internal Data (0032).

The following programs are available for HRPA_INDAT:

If a legal case related to internal data for an employee is not yet closed, you can block the relevant data records from being destroyed. To do so, in the Legal Hold infotype (3246), put a legal hold on the employee's data (subtype 0172). For more information, see Legal Hold.

Prerequisites

You are familiar with the basics of data destruction, as well as the functions for ILM policies and rules, and have defined the retention rules for the archiving object.

Procedure

  1. Familiarize yourself with the condition fields and time bases that are available in ILM for defining retention rules for HRPA_INDAT.

  2. Create a preprocessing variant for the archiving object.
