Safety Measure List
This application allows you to classify objects such as documents, permits, and task lists as safety measures.
Order and Notification List
This application provides you with a personal object worklist (POWL) that you can use to generate lists of maintenance orders and maintenance notifications.
Asset Viewer
The Asset Viewer is a display tool that enables simple navigation through complex object relations on an integrated user interface. You can navigate flexibly within and between objects.
The Work Overview
workset features two sets of POWLs for accessing favorite, recently accessed, and recently changed objects. From these POWLs, you have various navigation options depending on the selected object. In addition, the Services
list
provides you with links to the applications for managing objects directly.
The following functions are also integrated into the business package to further support users during their work:
Worker Safety
A number of functions for creating a safe working environment are available in the applications of this business package. You can classify objects such as documents, permits, and task lists as safety measures so that you can transparently assign them as such in maintenance orders and task lists. In addition, orders and task lists have a safety plan where you can evaluate risks and ensure that all appropriate safety measures are assigned. The safety plan is subsequently available to maintenance workers in the job card. It is possible to integrate an external risk management system, such as SAP BusinessObjects Risk Management, to support this process.
For more information about the integration of SAP BusinessObjects Risk Management into this business package, see SAP BusinessObjects Risk Management Integration.
Work Clearance Management (WCM)
WCM is recommended for ensuring a safe working environment in industries that are subject to specific safety regulations, for example, the oil and gas industry. This business package supports the integration of WCM work permits into the planning of safety-critical maintenance processes. A Web Dynpro application is available for creating, changing, and displaying work permits. It can be accessed from the order and notification list and from orders. By adding WCM requirements and WCM templates as safety measures in the safety plan, you can work more efficiently with work permits. The integration of an external risk management system, such as SAP BusinessObjects Risk Management, supports this process further.
For more information, see Work Clearance Management (WCM) Integration.
Business Context Viewer (BCV)
BCV is a framework for the integration of additional business content and analytical information. Predefined business content is available for Plant Maintenance (PM).
For more information, see Business Context Viewer Integration.
