Inclusion of Events Foreign to Shift in Shift Report

Use

Events that did not actually take place during the shift for which you have generated a shift report but which were only recorded in this shift are denoted by an X in the Event Foreign to Shift column. This makes it clear that the relevant event took place in the past (that is, outside the period of the shift that is being evaluated). If you generate a new shift report for this past shift, the retrospectively entered event is included in the new report.

In addition, the system then informs you that the list contains entries of events that did not take place within the evaluation period of the shift report. This information is displayed after the following sections:

  • List of shift notes

  • List of confirmations

  • List of aggregated quantities

  • List of aggregated activities

  • List of aggregated goods movements

Features

List of Shift Notes

As standard, the events foreign to the shift are outputted in the list of shift notes, but are not marked with an X. The Event Foreign to Shift column is hidden. You can show this column. See also: Show Events Foreign to Shift

However, you can also hide the notes foreign to the shift in the shift report by setting a filter in the layout of the list in Customizing for the shift report type (see Hide Events Foreign to Shift ).

List of Confirmations

As standard, the events foreign to the shift are outputted and marked with an X in the List of Confirmations . If you do not want the system to output this information in the shift report, you must set a filter in the layout of the list in Customizing for the shift report type in order to hide the events foreign to the shift (see Hide Events Foreign to Shift ).

Aggregated Lists

As standard, events foreign to the shift are not displayed in the three aggregated lists. To be able to show this information in the shift report, you must remove the filter in the layout of the list in Customizing for the shift report type (see Show Events Foreign to Shift ).
