Hide Events Foreign to Shift

Use

In the shift report, the events foreign to a shift are displayed with an X in the Event Foreign to Shift column. You can filter these confirmations out of the shift report and hide the Event Foreign to Shift column, so that only those confirmations that actually took place during the shift are displayed.

You can likewise filter the events foreign to a shift out of the List of Shift Notes.However, the column for events foreign to a shift is already hidden.

Procedure

To hide the column for events foreign to a shift in the list of confirmations, proceed as follows:

  1. In Customizing for the content of the shift report, choose the Define Layout function key for the List of Confirmations.

    The list layout appears.

  2. Choose the Set Filter icon.

    The system shows the Define Filter Criteria dialog box.

  3. In the column set, select the entry Foreign Event and choose the Add Filter Criterion icon.

    The system adopts the entry in the left-hand column with the filter criteria.

  4. Choose the Filter icon.

    The Determine Values for Filter Criteria dialog screen appears.

  5. Choose the Multiple Selection icon.

    The Multiple Selection for Foreign Event dialog box appears.

  6. Choose the Maintain Selection Options pushbutton.

    The Maintain Selection Options dialog box appears.

  7. Double-click on Single Value .

  8. Choose Adopt .

    The Determine Values for Selection Criteria screen appears.

  9. Choose the Execute icon.

    The system adopts the filter criterion.

  10. You must then change the layout and remove the entry Foreign Event from the screen area Columns Displayed . Save the change to the layout.

Result

The system filters confirmations marked with an X out of the shift report. These are then no longer displayed in the shift report.
