Translating Table Entries

Translate table entries by following the instructions given in this topic.

Context

For example, if you want to translate the entries in table SERPT, proceed as follows:

Procedure

  1. In transaction Translation: Initial Screen (SE63), choose Short Texts.
    The Object Type Selection (Object Groups) dialog box appears.
  2. Expand 00 Meta Objects.
  3. Select meta object type TABL Tables (Meta).
    The ABAP Short Texts: Tables (Meta) screen appears.
  4. Enter SERPT in the Object Name field.
  5. Select the required source and target languages.
  6. Choose Edit.
    Transaction SE63 works out for you that the correct object type is in fact TADC Tables (Customizing – Maintenance by Customers Only), and opens the object for translation in the short text editor.
