Proposal Pool Maintenance

Use

You create and edit proposals in the proposal pool to keep your short text translations consistent, while simultaneously saving time and money. You can access the proposal pool from the short text editor, or by using transaction SLPP. Different editing options are available to you, depending on how you access the proposal pool. For more information on how to access the proposal pool, see Accessing the Proposal Pool.

Features

You can edit the proposal pool as follows:

• Create proposals

  For more information, see Creating Proposals in the Proposal Pool.

• Create abbreviations

  For more information, see Creating Abbreviations and Full Texts.

• Change proposals

  It is not possible to change proposals in the proposal pool. If you need to change a proposal, you must delete it and then create a new one. For more information, see Changing Proposals in the Proposal Pool.

• Delete proposals

  For more information, see Deleting Proposals in the Proposal Pool.

• Change the quality status of a proposal

  For more information, see Changing the Quality Status of Proposals.
