Use

With the Value tab page of the Edit Measurement Style window, you can modify the default options for creating measurements.

Features

The Value tab page offers the following features:

Elements

Functional Description

Show Units

If selected, the Units field becomes active and you can choose which units to add to the measurement.
  • Linear: Establishes the unit of measurement.

  • Angles: Establishes the angle dimension between lines:
    • Degrees: Measures the angle in degrees

    • Radians: Measures the angle in radians

    • Degree Symbol (⁰): If selected, adds a degree symbol to angles (for example, 120⁰).

Use Scene Units

If selected, the default scene units are used for the measurement, and you cannot choose a unit of measure.

Feet and Inches

If the measurement size is over a specified number of inches, enables a line to be measured in feet.

Precision

Determines the number of decimal places to display in the dimension.

Show Partial Values As

Indicates how partial values display in the measurement:

  • Decimals: The partial values display as decimals

  • Fractions: The partial values display as fractions

Radial Measures

Indicates the prefix to use for radius and diameter dimensions:
  • Radius Prefix

  • Diameter Prefix
