Creating Data Aging Groups

You create data aging groups so that you can schedule data aging rungs for your tables.

Context

Without data aging groups you cannot schedule any data aging runs for your data A data aging group consists of a number of data aging objects. Each data aging object can belong to only one data aging group.

Procedure

  1. To do so, select transaction Overview of Data Aging Runs (transaction DAGRUN).
  2. In the menu, choose Start of the navigation pathGoto Next navigation step Edit Data Aging GroupsEnd of the navigation path.
  3. Choose New Entries and create a data aging group. Save your entries.
  4. From the list, select the data aging group that you have just created and then choose Data Aging Objects in the Dialog Structure to assign the required data aging objects to the group.
  5. Save your entries.
